I reserved nicnac on Dreamwidth ages ago, but I don't feel the need to move. I think the decline in LJ isn't as a result of people moving to Dreamwidth, more facebook and apathy in general.

the decline in quantity and quality of posts on LJ is as a result of other options being offered - FB and twitter chief among them.

The decline in standards at LJ is another matter.
