another bright Brisbane day
Today was gallery/ museum day.. a walk along the south bank through the pathway bordered by bouganvillia, and as it happens past more of these amazing lizards... when I started out it was coolish so many were active out and about before the toursist attention drove them into quieter spots.The 'cultural Centre' is a huddle of modern buildings on the ( Read more... ) -
Warmly welcomed in Brisbane
I arrived in Brisbane yesterday lunchtime, and apart from a little light shopping for food & wine, did almost nothing except two loads of washing and lots of chatting. Today, took a bus to the West End to repay a lost dollar to the veggie shop lady (an exchange about change I won yesterday, buying ingredients for a rat, but I was wrong) and stopped ( Read more... )
