Oh God, I know. Nothing's worse than when an unknown artist you like finally gets some recognition, but ends up getting too much and suddenly half of their fan base consists of annoying teenage girls or something. : /

The only thing about Andrew Bird is some people may not consider him accessible, and he has a lot of let's just say, quirks, that could turn a lot of people off. I like the popularity he has now: enough people know/listen to him so that he's on my tv every once and awhile and such.

I know about the annoying teeanage girl fanbase ruining a band. I used to be a big Death Cab For Cutie fan (before Twilight, and their last two bad albums) but now I just can't tolerate them. Twilight mall tour? No thank you.
