hey man, I love Glen but Joe will always be my favorite. and Colm is a fucking scientist alien from the future and everyone should appreciate him a LOT more than they do.

That's right, you have always loved Joe. But who doesn't? I guess the other members of The Frames have always attracted me more than Glen has.

I love all of them but I love love love Colm and I have a soft spot for Joe, who should sing more... which reminds me... I swear, maybe two or three years ago Claire mentioned that Joe was working on a solo project. I wonder if anything will come of that.

Joe should sing more! It's funny, one of The Frames shows I went to, actually the only one I saw with my mom, Joe did a cover of "Out on the Weekend" and my mom was like, "Why doesn't he sing more!?" And she's not even a big fan of the band. I would appreciate a solo project.

Yes! Glen sings "Christmastime in the Mountains" in the new Daytrotter session and it's just like... no, no leave the Will Oldham songs to Joe. He's just got a really interesting voice, he should definitely sing more.

I swear, a Joe solo project was mentioned in one of the newsletters in... 2006? 2007? Around that time. I'd have to go back and dig. I'd love to see what a solo project would bring.
