I have decided to go for the Canon 450D instead of the 400D. spot metering, better battery life, SD/SDHC vs. CF (not that it makes a big price difference anymore), bigger viewfinder, bigger LCD, more pixels. I don't care about the kit lenses so I'll get the body only for now, and grab a lens or two off ebay or something when money makes itself

Once you get it tell me how it is because im looking into the semi-pro cameras. Im after a Nikon or a Canon.
