This would be your argument:
(a) you quoted me 1 week for this product to come in
(b) it has now be over 3 (?) weeks, and still nothing has arrived.
(c) you made not concerted effort to keep me informed of any difficulties you might be having in acquiring the product.
(d) because of the wait i was forced to go elsewhere for my product, AND I got it at a better price.
(e) the service I have received here, has been less than acceptable.
You need to be assertive, like, if they came in and took a sledge hammer to your computer, that kind of assertive.

apparently they can't do a cc refund without the card. sounds like bullshit to me, since lots of merchants have done electronic refunds over the phone or whatever in the past.
of course they didn't even bother to call me and tell me that, instead I had to call again and ask why I did not get my refund yet. sigh.
super fucking annoying because I don't think I'll be able to get out there until next weekend. grrrr.
some people really don't "get" customer service. it aint that fucking hard.
