I heard the Golden Compass sucks and is too much like LOTR.

The book is better than the movie.
And honestly, I don't quite see how it's so Satanic, as people say.
It's faaaaaantasy. I guess some people just fail to realize that.

it looks kind of creepy with all the massive polar bears and shit.
nowadays the slightest hint of like, witchery (sp?) in a movie will convince people that it's satanic, lol.
