when sophie was the kitt0r of d00m [and OH MAN, WAS SHE EVER.] i also had one of those le bistro water thingies. sophie did the same thing. whenever she wanted my attention and wasn't getting it, she would like, push the bowl around to knock the water jug off, or at least askew, making an obnoxious watery mess. i never found a solution that worked, and eventually i had to buy a huge, SUPER heavy traditional water bowl. like one for a big dog. because it was the only thing she could not push around. i hope you have more luck than i did!
My husband suggests that non-skid shelf liner stuff. You know, the puffy kind? He thinks you should use duct tape or something to tape the bottom of the bowl to the shelf liner.
