Easter update
So is anyone even still around? I'm mostly on Tumblr these days but I miss you guys so I figured I'm gonna cross post the more note worthy personal posts I make on Tumblr (not that there's many of them) here.
So here goes
So Easter was pretty good. My mom baked some cakes and made Pasha (the English wiki describes it as an Orthodox dish, which is true, but in Poland Catholics make it too) and everyone else helped her out with cleaning and stuff.
And as this time for a number of reasons we stayed in Cracow we were the ones pet sitting this time over - we took care of my shift manager’s dog. It could be a pretty good way kiss up to her I guess xD But it was actually my brother’s idea (he works in a different department so she doesn’t have any authority over him) - he saw a picture of the dog and as he is a sucker for cute animals he wanted to have it over for a few days. What’s amazing is that this dog is half Collie half Dachshund. You’d think nature would even out the proportions but actually noooo. Imagine the torso of a Dachshund with the head, paws and tail of a Collie. I do wonder if it’s gonna have back problems because of it in the future but it’s only a year old and for now it’s fine. What’s more it’s amazingly fast and strong so let me tell you walking it (together with my two dogs) with how hard it was pulling me was not an easy feat. It was also constantly hungry and as it has HUGE teeth it ate everything 2-3 times faster than my dogs. It’s kid of a monster actually xDDD but loves hugs and is super friendly. The bigger one of my dogs hated the guest’s guts because I payed her too much attention (in her opinion).
All in all it was fun and I’m already missing her :/ Even if she kept waking me up at 6 am for a walk (while my own dogs who actually quite like to sleep in were like WTF are u doing??!).
What else? We finally finished playing Assassin’s Creed 3 (yup, we’re very behind with the series) and basically it’s crying over Connor forever now.
And we also finished Remember Me. It was pretty cool. Had very nice graphics (especially for a lower budget game) and quite an interesting plot. The combat system was actually quite innovative. The only thing there could have been more of is memory remixing. They advertised it as a big pat of the game but you do it just 4 times :/ All in all I would recommend it though, also because of some nice diversity going on.
