Mindless wanderings of a mindless mind

Gruzz says:

I feel the need to express myself.  Quite what I need to express is beyond me, but nevertheless I shall pen some musings here, and if it turns out to be so much flotsam, well tough!

Been busy at work this week, which is a good thing.  I was getting very bored with the gaps in my workload.  I'd rather be doing something than nothing.  ( Read more... )

Shame on you for not spending all your money flying here to visit ;p

You'll just have to make the effort to se the new place instead. You will, as always, have an open invite :)

Jesus T. Total, man, you move more than I do!!!
Please have enjoyed your evening of humour.

I moved from Kent to London 3 years ago, and now I am moving back. You moved all the way to Bristol!!! I think you win the moving award :)

My future self assures me that the evening of homour was enjoyed. I shall see if he is telling the truth in a couple of hours.

If I eat a llama burger, some of my friends will kill me with spoons. They like Llamas. I can recommend the entire specials menu at Nelsons (near Borough tube), and most of the menu at the Barrow Boy and Banker (by London Bridge itself). We shall do lunch. I promise.

I thought there were at least two Kent-London-Kent moves in there.
I have lived at twelve addresses in eight years, plus an extra four that I spent a great deal of time at but never was on the tenancy agreement, over six London Boroughs and three counties. There are some boxes I don't bother unpacking at all.

Any gastropub will suit me. I even eat at Wetherspoons.
And hey, I like llamas too. They're cute and the cuter an animal is, the better it tastes - honest. The best meat I have ever tasted is guinea pig. The worst is swan. I was once an ardent vegetarian and now I'm trying to redress the balance.

Well, if you include my Uni years (Which I don't, because I never really though of my Uni residences as "home") then you can add a Kent-London-Kent-London-Kent string of relocations before my move to London 3 years gone, but that literally is my entire life history re places I have lived.

And on reflection... it's not a particularly interesting subject to talk about.

I'll mail you about lunch sometime.
