Life is rough
at times
Occasionally your poem

Side to side
A roller coaster ride
When is enough
Enough?

Learn

Telephone calls and long letters
Flowers and chocolate
Dates to a movie
'Your song' playing on the radio
But then there's those
Fiends
Locked away in your closet
Tears
Always a blink away
On the brink of a meltdown
But then your heart beats again
Your body tingles
Learn to trust
Learn to believe
Learn to care
Learn to feel
Learn to love
