I think Seamus was able to sneak firewhiskey in the Tower somehow because the boys are making a lot of noise.  They all deserve it though.  Ron...he was poisoned on the first by some tainted mead Professor Slughorn gave him.  If Harry hadn't been there to save him--and then Harry was in the hospital wing on the eighth.  McLaggen got in the back of ( Read more... )

Every day as a prefect is busy. It's such a wonderful opportunity and a great honour to be one though. I wouldn't give it up for anything.

Prefect? What's that? Like an honors student or something?

Yes, but with a bit more responsibility. We're able to give out some discipline to the students and make rounds around the school.

Fire whiskey? What's that?

Whiskey made even stronger using magic. It's extremely potent and just a few glasses will leave you with a bad headache the next day. They're going to be miserable in the morning.

Students sneaking alcohol onto school grounds and teachers drugging their students. Huh.

If it weren't for the magic part, we could almost go to the same school.

He didn't mean to do it. Someone poisoned that mead and gave it to Professor Slughorn without his knowledge. We have to find out who it is and quickly before they try something like that again.

Should that be somewhat reassuring or sad?

Oh, don't worry, that'll happen more or less in a few years or so.

And I thought that the dorm I lived in was chaotic.

Try living in a castle with almost 800 teenagers.

I suppose you at least care about trying to keep order? You seem quite responsible.

I don't know about the quite responsible part, but I do think there should be some kind of order. You can't learn properly if everything is in chaos.
