Has it really only been two weeks since the Quidditch Final...?  I know they say that time flies by as you get older, but this is ridiculous.  It feels like we started first year last week and now we're on the cusp of our final year.   I suppose this is what Mum and Dad mean when they say they feel older by the minute.

We did win the House Cup!  I  ( Read more... )

No, they'll penalize us for using an unidentified spell that seriously injured a fellow student. I'm all for innovation in magic, but not at the cost of someone's life.

The same could be said about the Horcruxes or the Unforgivables. I can't accept that as progress.

Well, look what the reindeer coughed up. And that's the thing if you're going to do something like that. You don't ge caught.

Congrads on the cup, by the way.

Hi, Jack! It has been too long, hasn't it? I'm honestly horrible at keeping up with this journal during the school year. Have you been well?

Well, it was hard for him not to get caught. He nearly sliced Malfoy in two, he had to get him medical help. He shouldn't have used that spell in the first place...thick as he is.

Thank you. I'll be sure to pass on your congratulations to the team!

It HAS! But you know, you're busy. I'm busy. We're all busy.

I'm alive that's all that matters.

Sounds like he's under a lot of stress, ya know.

Welcome. Thanks so much.

So, what are you doing after school gets out?

One shouldn't be busy enough to talk to their friends. Alive? Nothing has happened, has it?

Not particularly. He's coasting in Potions because of that book and the rest of the school gives him slack because he's Captain of the Quidditch team. He's gone around the whole year acting like a right--a right berk.

I'll probably spend time with Mum and Dad and get ready for our exit exams. They're key to finding a good apprenticeship after graduation.

Yes. We're not sure who created it, but they deserve some kind of repercussion for making such a destructive spell.

Is this that book again?

It's more than that. The book apparently had a spell that could slice someone in two and Harry decided to use it without knowing its effects. He could have gotten in even worse trouble.

Well, that sounds typically human. Use the new and unknown thing first, ask questions and use several rolls of bandages later... no offence. But Malfoy'll be alright in the end, then?

That's what Madam Pomfrey said. Even if it is Malfoy, I feel bad for him.
