Well, for one, I want the house to feel more like a home. I also want to get to know everyone better. [Especially where Harry and his generation are concerned.] Furthermore, I don't see a reason to let our dueling skills go rusty. Who knows when we might need them? I know I teach at the school, so a lot of my time is already in use, but I don't see why we couldn't have a club of sorts for defensive magic.

Pretty sure they're never boring if you're resolving to do them. Practical, sure; boring? Nah. Not if you're into that.

The small things matter to me. Like watching sunrises and sunsets; making new friends; repairing broken bridges (both literally and metaphorically) - you know, that sort of thing.
