...so on to uninteresting things then. I applied for a job in three different places almost two weeks ago. Is it normal to not hear anything after such a long time? They're just jobs at a supermarket and two clothing stores. Nothing special, so I figured I'd find out quickly if I were hired or not.

Haha, no. Two never replied (but the supermarket had just hired), and I got a job interview for one of the clothing stores. It went badly (I didn't think to prepare, at least a little T_T) although I didn't realize that until later. They said if I didn't hear anything in a week, it was a no-go. They never got back to me. So... yeah. XD I'm sure it's because I've no experience. *sigh* I'm still trying though.

You should definitely keep on trying. I think it's rather silly to reject somebody for simple jobs when they have no experience. How on earth are you suposed to gain experience if nobody hires you? Oh well. Good luck!

And regarding Windows Vista, everything's perfect so far. Limewire is, apparantly, uncompatible with the Aero theme but not with Vista. Whenever I open it my theme automatically changes to Windows default. The program then runs smoothly. Once I close it, Windows returns to Aero. :)
