This is lovely, seeing how they explore both their memories of Frodo and his parents and their memories of the Quest. I'd imagine this sorting through his possessions would be quite painful at times, but ultimately healing.
I figured I was way off. Actually, I'm glad I'm off, but my brain, which has been a little sleep-deprived lately, just started running amok. I had to LOL when I read what I'd written.
Looking forward to some good angst in the next chapter.
Thank you, then we are doing what we set out to do. There are a lot of tears and laughter on the path to acceptance and recovery after the loss of one as dear as Frodo, even when you know he is still alive, but that you will never see him again.
Cruel wonderful fiendish delightful GryffinFlower! A mighty cliff you've left us hanging from. I'm really enjoying the rainbow of emotions the Travelers are going through as they discover the contents of the strong box. This is a wonderful tale you're weaving. Can't wait for the next chapter!
*Grins* Never fear - we will help you back up from that cliff next chapter. Sam, Merry, and Pippin certainly are going through all sorts of emotions, aren't they? I think they'll all need a rest when they are through! Hopefully, we will have the next chapter posted soon.

And we hope not to take too long over revealing the contents of the box.
