New LotR Community!

Well, I had an idea and did something very Tookish and immediately acted upon it. I've created a new community, Filling in the Corners

If this was an LJ community, I'd join in a second! But I gave up long ago on most Yahoo groups. I just can't seem to follow the conversation threads there very well, and choose not to wade through the torrents of e-mail that come from them. I wish you luck, and fun with the new group!

You know, I hadn't even remembered that there was a difference. That's a good point! I'd like to include you in the group. If most people feel the same way as you, then I'll be happy to switch it over to an LJ Community, although someone will have to tell me how to create one.

This is a terrific idea--just the other day I was wishing there was someplace I could go to ask about a point of canon that brushed my story and this is just the sort of thing I was looking for! I would love to join if you will have me. (I'll wait to see what happens with the Yahoo/LJ thing first, though!)

Well, I clicked on the invite to join, but I don't think Yahoo let me in. I think an LJ community would be really cool--and it's not hard--you just follow the directions from LJ!
