I have heard of urinary tract infections causing that sort of problem, my guess is Twen would know and you might want to shoot her an email if its something you can get looked at.
Just throwing out a possibility.

yeah
my vote is for UTI or bladder infection
does she cry when she pees?

Well, I think one of the first things to do is try to make it so the door to Fuz's office can be closed securely. I assume it's still the way it was last time I saw it and can be pushed open by a slight breeze.

It's possible that a bladder infection is involved, but since peeing is something they've always had a problem with, I wouldn't bank on it being the entire cause of the problem. I would look into finding a room the cats can be when no one is home to watch them. When everyone is at work or asleep then you can find somewhere to keep them that will keep the damage to the whole house to a minimum.

I'm not sure where that would be in your house, since Cal is now in the spare bedroom, right? The bathroom would be the most cat resistant, but also way to small. If fuz is that bent on getting rid of them, I might suggest trying to catproof your room as much as possible and trying to keep them there temporarily, until you can fix the problem.

This comment was way too long, but I hope it was at least some help.
