Gaimen already did the exotic dancer muse
in Sandman, maybe try a different angle.
Aphrodite running match.com or something.

Bast at an in charge of an animal shelter?

Anubis working at a morgue or a funeral parlor?

Diana spokesperson for the NRA (i think she's the
goddess of the hunt)

oh i know he did.
The point is to take said ideas and develop them further in a photo series.

Besides he wasn't the first to do it, Dogma had a muse as a stripper as well to "inspire men to dump their wallets" :P

Thank you though for your ideas as well!! :D

Sandman was way before Dogma.
Sandman had been out a good long while before
I read it back in high school.
Dogma came out while I was in college.
besides with two people doing that concept, all the more reason
to come up with a new twist.

Zeus as an electrician? one of the people to come fix downed power lines or some such.

Ma'at (egyptian) might be a judge or lawyer.

There are a few that I can think of... Take any of the three major Western pantheons, Greek/Roman, Egyptian, and Norse, and here's what I see.

Egyptian:
Thoth - Because we have experience with him, and I can tell you aaaaalll about him. Gaiman writes about him too.
Bastet/Bast - Everyone likes cats. She might hang on. Gaiman writes about her a lot. Ada has an interest in her.
Ra - Sun gods are cool. Stargate movie is inspiration.
Or maybe Min, Set, Osiris, or Horus.

Greek/Roman:
Eris/Diskordia - Very active following. Good symbols. Lots of reference material.
Mercury/Hermes - In the information age, the Messenger god becomes important again.
Athena/Minerva - Where has the place of wisdom and justice gone?

Norse:
Odin - The all-father, the grim one-eyed god, someone we all remember once a week.
Thor - Comic books kept him alive. Strong, simple, stupid.
Loki - Norse myth is great for having moral grey areas. Is he the bad guy or not?
Hel - We use her name every day. Half-dead, half-alive.

I can really see Hermes/Mercury as a bike messenger person, or, if not a messenger himself then the manager/owner of a bike messenger office.

Obviously Bastet. As her father's protector, what would she do if he was gone? Who would she protect? My first thought was "crazy cat lady" but that doesn't totally fit. I wanna say she could work in a nursing home but she would be very unsatisfied. I donno... I'll get back to you on that:P

ooo thats a neat thought.

I also keep thinking about her transition from being seen as a sun goddess to a moon goddess. Must learn more about it.
