Meta I posted on Tumblr last night that was inspired by this gifset, or Why S10 Is The Perfect Time To Bring Back Bela Talbot:
Everyone is thoroughly spoiled already about Dean right? )

Oh, I LOVE your ideas for bringing Bela back. I agree with so much/everything you said. If they were ever to bring Bela back (which they should) this would be the perfect time to do. And your reasoning is so sound and so perfect.

Wouldn't it just be amazing? The parallels and the differences. The hatred she would feel at the idea that she had to claw her way out of hell and not only had he been saved once, but when he was eventually turned, it was of his own doing (in a way) and that he was stronger than her, despite how much longer she spent in the pit. And just-basically a big fat yes to everything you said. Only you said it better. I think you should be writing the show.

The only thing they would need is an actress to pull of demon!bela as well as Lauren Cohen did. Like really study her. Obviously she would be different, but still, I'd really love if they could get someone that could capature her essence. or lauren cohen, but you know...Also, I'm not on tumblr, but I agree. Doesn't really seem like a thing to need to warn for. ( ... )

I personally like your comparisons/meta. XD

Thank you! :D

The hatred she would feel

Aaaaagh I just want it sfm. Like, she would hate his guts, but she's nothing if not a survivor/self-preservationist, so I think if she saw some way to gain from it, she would work for him anyway, all the while plotting how to eventually take revenge. And from the spoilers, it sounds like Demon!Dean doesn't care about anything, so I think instead of wanting to kill her for vengeance like normal!Dean might*, Demon!Dean wouldn't give a shit about their past enmity and would find it amusing to have her work for him. Why waste an incredible resource like Bela (who would doubtlessly have made a reputation for herself by tracking down all sorts of useful relics and being an excellent crossroads saleswoman) when he could use her talents for his own purposes? So they'd be a ruthlessly efficient and effective boss/subordinate team, and they'd have tons of fantastic hate!sex, but all the while Bela would be plotting to destroy him, and Dean would guess ( ... )

Oh, the joys of Tumblr. :\

And yeah, I can't imagine SPN doing anything like justice to the possibilities even if they did bring Bela back. :\

Some days I think I couldn't live without Tumblr, and some days I just want to smash it with a hammer. :/

Ultimately I have to hope that they don't bring her back because they'll just kill her horribly and misogynistically, and I couldn't bear it. /O\

Sigh. I would actually come back to watching SPN if Bela returned. Damn you, successfulness of The Walking Dead!

The 200th episode is apparently going to bring back or refer to many past characters, and since I have basically zero expectations of seeing Lauren Cohan, at this point I'm just hoping that they don't mention Bela's name just to mock her... :(

I would say some comforting platitude like "Bela's in a better place now," but then I remember she's currently in a zombie apocalypse. So that doesn't help.

I like to imagine that she's topside, making crossroads deals and taking names and doing her best to just stay out of management's way (i.e., Crowley and Dean's) until she's powerful enough to take them on and claim the throne for herself. *nods* That's my story, officer, and I'm sticking with it.
