Thought you might be interested in knowing that green, purple and white were the suffragist colors, and women wore jewelry etc. in those colors as a really subtle way of saying they supported equal rights for women.

I use those colors a lot myself, even though almost no one knows that anymore. Think of it next time you see an Art Nouveau iris! :)
