...but frustrated...

What is it about people? Has life become so boring that the only pleasure people get is causing problems? It seems that since about or around the time of Dr. Spock (Dr. not Mr. Spock) people no longer can accept accountability for their own actions and decisions. Do we really need a warning on a blender that says not to put hands and fingers ( Read more... )

People should be accounatble for their actions. I accept full responsibility for everything I do, did, will do.

Unfortunately those around me tend to make excuses for my behavior. Would you believe some of them doubt my sanity ROFL.

Your blender coment had me laughing out loud...scared my cat, she jumped right off the bed. I'm one of those people that has to do something just to see what will happen. Ok, I'm too smart to actually put my hand in a blender, but it doesn't stop me from wondering what will happen. Sometimes I will do something just because it says not to. Occasionally I will do something even if I know it is bad for me or will cause me pain. Sometimes pain is better than nothing. I just have an insatiable curiosity. What? Why? I must find out.

In the end, whatever happens, I know it was because I wanted it to. My fault, because I had to push that button, turn on that blender.

Sad for me...it's not my hand in there...it's my heart.

*laugh* Sorry your cat got scared! Yea I am kind of like that too at times...too curious or don't always think things through all the way. But whatever I have done, I wanted to do it, it wasn't because someone else encouraged, misled or lied to me about something. Or something wasn't marked effectively. Sounds like you have some serious pain going on in your life, I pray you get some relief for it soon! But your right in that pain is better then nothing...as I always say it reminds you, your still alive...and that's a good thing. Well to me anyway, I have known a few people who would argue that with me.

BTW...if you decide to try putting your hand in the blender, just unplug it first...*grin* You can still hurt yourself on the blades, just not as bad.

Don't worry about the cat...she's fine. They have nine lives, and the little furball shouldn't be on the bed. She's always licking my face when I'm trying to sleep and she crawls all over the keyboard when I type. Hmmm maybe I can blame her for typos lol.

I appreciate your prayers, every little bit helps. I used to think dead would be better, but I can't just give up. It would hurt too many people and I'm trying so hard not to be selfish. Every day is a new challenge...a new lesson in hurt, but I keep an image in my head and just repeat to myself "anything that doesn't kill us just makes us stronger". I swear I'm going to be a superhero soon with all this new found strength ROFL

Oh, I promise not to put my hand in a blender...on purpose.
