Sad, broken, hurting...

On Dec. 8th of 1995 a treasure was born into this world, a treasure we named Cinnamin Heather Sanbrook. Heather was her everyday name, though as time passed Sissy, Little Girl,Ms. Rotten, Stubborn, Baby Girl and a few others came to be loving names for her as well. Bringing her home she love to lay in the crook of my arm and sleep not quite as ( Read more... )

i got word through the grapevine about heather's passing...had dropped a comment in cathy's journal as I didn't know if you kept up with yours or not.

Thank you for writing this tim. I cried when I heard Heather had passed, and I wondered what had happened. Blue is having his own trials these days, I don't know if Cathy told you cinny passed a few years back or no.

One thing I thought I would let you know, Heather was actually the last pup born in Cinny's litter. After watching her birth the first 3 and thier size we had been expecting two more, we were much surprised to see heather at twice the size as any other pup!

She was a wonderful dog, I'm sorry to hear she's gone one. Hopefully she's with cinnamin waiting for us all.

Hey Rhi...yea I don't post very often but I still read my friends everyday. Thank you for the thoughts and feelings, Heather was indeed a wonderful dog. I was so sorry to hear Cin had passed away but never heard any of the particulars, wasn't even sure how to contact you when I heard back then. I cried for some time over that, Cin was a special dog too, I missed her and Q so much after you guys moved.

Barak seems to be taking this ok, though he seems even more clingy then he use to be, people only thought he was spoiled before, he's going to be beyond spoiled now. He's been limping around a little this evening, not sure why, can't find any external signs, but we spent a good chunk of the afternoon at grandma's for Easter dinner and there was 2 other dogs and kids there, its possible he strained a muscle or something in the chaos. Hope to win the lotto soon, I would love to have him stud a litter before he gets too old.

I'm not sure what happened with Cinnamin. She had gotten to where she didn't hear to good, and with her arthritis I had bought her a special bed she often lay in upstairs. I had gone to a doctors appt and when I got home she didn't come greet me, I figured she just hadn't heard me come in, she was laying down upstairs. I put some things away and went to sit down in my chair, and there was an old comforter we would leave on the floor for the dogs to curl up in laying in front of my chair. I went to move it and it was heavy, and I just turned cold, I just knew...she had crawled through a rip inside and wedged herself deep within it, I shredded the thing to get her out ( ... )

Thanks T-Bear...we appreciate it. Hope everything is going along happily for you and Ting. At least your going to be back together again instead of some 800+ miles apart. Much easier to handle things together then apart. Be well my friends and take good care!

Grykon, I haven't had a chance to keep up with journals in several days due to the chaos. Just read now your touching tribute to Heather. I'm so sorry to hear about T and your loss. I do believe that pets become integral parts of your family, especially for those who do not have children. I'll keep you all in my thoughts during this difficult time.

Ting
