Tonight I went to my first singles party. I didn't really go to meet someone, I know the hostess and a lot of the people, plus 90% of the people are artist types. However my two meets were interesting. One man lives about 4 blocks from my house, and while I'm not looking to date him, he's definitely an interesting artist who I would like to get to

That sounds like a fun way to meet new people!!! But Bummer on that artist guy giving you the cold treatment after finding out you were seeing someone---why limit yourself when you meet new people? He must not realize the best relationships grow out of friendship first---either that or he was looking for a quick girlfriend hook-up. Boo! :C
