Thanks for the comments regarding my loss of Zachamia. I appreciate the love and support people have shown me! I will do a memorial post of Zach soon, sharing some of my memories. We've had some good times, and some even funny ( Read more... )

Anyone would have a hard time rallying after some of the sucker punches you've had---I'm impressed with your moxie and gumption. You've inspired me to get cracking on some things I thought I was "too deep in the hole" to do.

Thanks, that's really nice to hear! I never think of myself as a go-getter, motivational inspiration, or whatever, but my good friend in NY always says I impress her. I've had a couple others say it too, so I guess I should start to accept and appreciate that about myself. I think I've taken so many sucker-punches my whole life that I just walk around them now. I still tell them off, but then I move on.

BTW, you should never feel self-conscious about what you say in your LJ. We all love ya, and are always happy to read what you're up to, or whatever! I'm always glad to see you around!

There were stick legs found on the floor! Simon broke into the tank (it was in the office for a bit). One stick bug was on the blinds, one was on the ceiling above the closet door, two were still in the tank, and one hasn't been seen since! The Pink Wing stick ladies laid eggs though, so I should have more soon!

I MIGHT make it to my first derby bout in March...though I wasn't expecting the tix to be so much. We'll see. I'm just being hit with too many expenses the last couple weeks. Either way, I will go to a bout soon!!
