It's nice to see what you're toiling on (I'd love to show you what I'm toiling on, but sadly, I'd be slain...), but I wonder how best to resopnd. THere's parts I love (some Jim Gurney moments), but parts I think could be improved... Is this a done deal? Or is it still in progress?

Er, well, I did shoot ref - guess it didn't help enough, though. The client wanted the globes to be just clear things containing images, not glowing as I understood the brief, but maybe it would've looked better with some glow off of them anyway. The Spaniards were indeed supposed to be ghosts.

I'll watch my shadows better next time, and I know I do tend to make horses too small (horses seem to endlessly frustrate me.) You're probably right about the hair, too - slimming it down probably would've made him more masculine.
