I don't think your ellipses are quite correct, and I still suspect the top of his hat is too far back for his head, but those are easy fixes, and the rest is sweet.

Hmmm... I shot the original reference with a fedora, so I think it's fairly correct, but if it looks wrong, I'll fiddle with it anyway and see if it looks better.

The trashcan opening and the streetlight. The former more than the latter.
I've always found ellipses a bitch myself.

I would overlay the reference on the final and double check the hat. But then photos really do lie sometimes...

Heh. Next time - I am definitely finding some sort of brush to do them for me and then just bending them into perspective. I am totally baffled by how Syd Mead can just bang out fantastic cities in a matter of hours, that's for sure.
