Class is going well. We're mostly attacking the sort of stuff I'm not as good at (quick sketching/gesture), so it's a serving of my Artistic Wheaties - all the stuff I hate doing, but working on it is good for me ( Read more... )

Oh, did you go to the Illustration Master Class? I had a conflict and couldn't manage it... but may try to do it if it's held again... AND if I can scrounge up the money. *sigh*

I'm guessing you thought it was worthwhile?

No, I didn't go, but it seemed like everyone who did raved about it, so I'd intended to give it a shot this year.

I know two people who went (LA Williams and Drew Baker) and they said they found it worthwhile. Allen said he'd try to go again, he liked it so much.

I have a friend who is determined to go. I'd love to try it, but who knows if I'll be able to???

But there's some time... Maybe you'll get a mess of work and be able to swing it? Good luck, anyway!
