Once upon a time, I used to attend mass with my friend D in a small hospital chapel near San Francisco. He loved the mass there because parking was easy, and lasted all of 30 minutes. I may just have to copy this & email it to my cousin. he is a priest & he is officiating at my wedding. i know exactly how you feel about feeling a connection with the church and the officiant. i'm so excited for you (and i know that sounds a bit jaded considering we don't each other) but i do read through your blogs & i can very much relate to your experiences!
