Nook vs. Kindle

So I think I might have been convinced to want an e-book reader.  I looked at a Nook yesterday and I have a kind of prejudice against the Kindle based on them apparently being able to delete your books and refund you money without your permission.  I was also originally thinking of  just reading books on my new phone that I won't have till Oct.

I have a Kindle, and I love it! I got it as a gift, so I never compared it to the Nook and others. I will say that having a non-backlit reader is a wonderful thing. You can read it in bright light, and the batteries last forever. You also get a much larger viewing area than trying to read anything on a smart phone.
