on the car burglars: give 'em hell. basturds. glad your neighbor had sense!
on the homework: 100pages/week IS excessive, but, sadly, not at all unusual.
on Mythbusters: do it!!! i doubt it's a high-paying job, but worth it!!

Village Park is low income housing. It's also right up the street from your house. The guy that stole both my mountain bike and an AC unit from a frat house lived at Village Park. This is, unfortunately, not the first story I've heard similar to yours.
