I am looking for a new home for Juri...setting this out to my FL first, then Craigslist if no one wants to take him on. He needs a one or two person home with very few visitors, no other pets, and no children. Or a room of his own to be put in while visitors are over. I've had him almost a year, and he's very cuddly when it's just me. He will ( Read more... )

my housemate has one of those. Does yours hide or "attack"? If he just hides, my advice would be to ignore him, or allow him to have access to outside if your area allows it and he is fixed and vaccinated. (It's done wonders for my housemates crazy cat)

If he attacks of course, that wouldn't work, and finding him an appropriate home (perhaps a barn?) is probably your best option.

or just finding someone that goes out to visit/has an extra room to stash him in when people are over...:P he's super cuddly...with one person...:wry smile:

I've met Juri, and we got along famously...unfortunately I have 2 cats and a dog so the living situation would not be tolerable for him. Otherwise, he'd already be with me.

I feel really bad about it, because when I owned him he was generally pretty nice.

BTW, I asked my current roomie if he will adopt Juri when he moves out, and he says he'll be willing to. But he won't be moving out for about a month or so. I don't know if that'll work for you, but he's known Juri pretty much since I moved here.

I would love that, since that would put him with someone who knows him already...I don't mind keeping him for a month more, and I don't know if you know how much that relieves me...I would like to find him a place before mid August, as I want to have a birthday party with a lot of people over...which would be..yeah...with Juri at the apt...
