6-1, 7-6, 6-4    I *still* have a stupid happy grin on my face.  Welcome to History, Roger Federer.  14 Slams (ties Pete Sampras's record AND a career Grand Slam, on three surfaces, which only Agassi has ever done).  And wasn't it just too fitting that Andre gave Roger his trophy?!?  :D

And I got to watch it a second time that evening

No, Alec's roommate Tuller has this huge ass wide screen HD TV and I watched it over there. Alec was nice enough to tape the match for me on their DVR since I had no idea if it was going to run more than two hours and I had to leave at 11 to get to Kim's bridal shower in time. In the end, I got to watch the whole match, but missing the post-match interviews/ceremony stuff so I watched some of the last set (through which I was frantically ironing clothes and putting on makeup) and the post-match stuff after the shower at Alec's. The HD floored me... you could see all the scuff marks in the clay as they played!
