The joys of being a graduate student.
And for the first time I don't mean that subject line sarcastically. I just got back from a small party at my advisor's house since two of his students just defended their theses this week. There was a 1:1 ratio of students to professors... not including my advisor's wife. And it was great. Four students, four professors, good food, and beer

And, yeah, you really should watch Heroes. It's really NOT like an X-men ripoff at all. I mean, the premise (an ensemble cast of folks spontaneously develop random, disparate superpowers) is similar at first glance, but you'd be hard-pressed to find parallels in the characters, characterizations, and plotlines (except in some of the most general senses).
