Thanks to everyone for all the awesome birthday wishes.  Today was, prior to 11:57pm when I walked back into my apartment, a damn fine day.  Nothing extraordinary, just a good, productive day, then went home to see my mom and have dinner.

sigh. this is the hardest part about living with many pets...lots of sad days. interesting that she lived just long enough for your birthday though, isn't it?

Yeah, I am starting to realize this dilemma... I can't live without pets, but damn does it hurt emotionally after they are gone. *sigh* Talking about pets, I saw an orange tabby stray the other day and thought of Mickey... hows he doing? Keeping away from the buttons and the plastic?

And thanks for the birthday wishes. :) If you're not going to throw yourself out of a perfectly good plane tomorrow you are still welcome to join us at the Ren Faire. We'll be there from 11am until at least 3pm.
