I have been looking at Amazon (.co.jp) to find myself a new usb memory stick. Flash memory is kicking down doors, people. I guess it's not exactly news, anymore. Flash memory has been snapping necks for the last two years

I'd vote to spend the money for a flashy one. To, like, impress girls or something. Alternatively, if your current one is working but has fallen apart, you could just cover the bare circuit board with a big glob of hot glue. Also impressive!

I've also thought about cap vs. retractable, but I've never liked the feel of any retracting USB flash stick I've touched. And despite being pretty prone to misplacing things, I've yet to misplace my cap.
