Obama's Eight Point Plan

Nov 19, 2008 09:55

In keeping with the stance he held during the presidential campaign, President-elect Obama laid out his eight-point plan for LGBT equality on his transition website. The plan is bold, but as I've said before, I believe it is do-able. The changes he proposes, including ending DADT, are not so radical that they can not get beyond Congress at some point during his administration. I could say more on each one, but I'll save that for discussion in the comments. (Gotta get to class.)
