i guess this is my effort towards sympathy. mark_strand March 12 2006, 21:18:27 UTC
one of my cousins has the same disease. it's odd seeing him at family functions whether he's on or off his meds. when he's on the drugs, he's a quiet, distant something I don't know. and when he's off, he's erratic and almost scary. actually, he is scary. it's terrifying. not that he's a threat to anyone beside himself, but thinking about his illness...
i'm sorry rach, greif is one of those weird things that affects each of us in different ways.
death is never a happy circumstance, but we take it the best way we know how. I hope you are able to handle this in a way that is comfortable for you, but if it gets hard, know you're in my thoughts.

I'm so sorry to hear this. It's not selfish to feel confused about death and how to interact with your family about it, especially around such tragic and sudden circumstances. Being there for them was help enough I'm sure.

R-ray is missed and loved in gville. See you soon.
