Hello,

I tried to post my sale yesterday but the button for posting was grayed out. :-(
Reading the FAQ, I was wondering if I have broken rules or if this may be due to a LJ technical issue ?
I haven't post since january but received no moderation message so far, can you please help me on this matter ?

Thank you :-)

Hi,

There is nothing wrong with your posting access on our end however LJ has been having problems lately with their posting and community features. Try taking a look at this and see if anything helps.

edit to fix link.

Hi, I've submitted an application for membership to this comm but it's been more than 10 days and I still haven't heard back yet. May I inquire what's going on?

Hi,
There's an announcement at the top of the page regarding membership applications. It is currently suspended until LJ has fixes their bug. Still not fixed.

Sorry for the wait.

Hi,

Thanks for clarifying some points, I'm sorry for doing some mistakes because there are so many rules but I'll consider in the future this comment of yours.

About my posting, of course I'll take into account the days and the rules and all, is it ok if I post that I need product 'X' from China and if is someone could help me buy it? Would that be ok to post? I mean the way I formed the question?

Thanks again :)

Hi,

That's ok, I left the post up there so that others might see too. For future reference, please don't delete you post. You're not allowed to delete posts or comments in our community so that we have a record of everything going on.

As to your question, it's ok to look for a proxy service in China, however please bear in mind our 'no bootleg' policy. It sounded like you were looking for Omamori knockoffs made from China? If that is so, then it's not allowed.

Oh gosh I went to post a new ad, but it didn't show up. I then realized it hasn't been exactly 72 hours since my last post (found here: http://garagesalejapan.livejournal.com/20351552.html) which I posted at 20:08 on the 25th. I hadn't paid attention to the actual time, but since the post didn't actually show up anyway, I thought perhaps a mod caught it before it posted. Sorrysorry! ;_; Is it ok for me to try re-posting the new ad today (the 28th) at 20:08?

If it showed up right after you posted and then dissapeared, then perhaps one of us has deleted it, but if it didn't show up at all, then livejournal probably ate it and has nothing to do with us. We're not 100% strict on the 72h rule, just 3 days from that day.
e.g. if you posted at 8pm on the 25th, you can re-post any time on the 28th even if it's 1am on that day. It doesn't have to be exactly on the hour.
However, if your first post was at midnight (i.e. 00:00) on the 25th and you want to post again at 23:59pm on the 27th, even if it's just a one minute difference, it's still considered less than 3 days. The key is to look at the date. The 72h reference is just to make sure you recognise that it's 3 days.

So yes, go ahead and post again. It's mostly likely LJ ate the first one anyway.

Hello~
I have a question about joining.
It says that my journal must be at least a month old, which mine is
but I also don't have any posts because I pretty much just use this for browsing and such
I was just unsure if it meant that I must have been actively using my journal for a month, or if it just means that I must have HAD it for a month
thank you!

We can see the level of your LJ activities from the comments that you post, so that's ok. Feel free to apply as long as you meet the other requirements.
