The Final Geoff Howe Special and Year-end wrap-up

Well, after a good 10 month run, "The Geoff Howe Special" came to an end on December 19, 2006. Due to various circumstances the Serious Coffee in Oak Bay can no longer house live music, so both my show and the Open Stage on Wednesday night had to bow out. You and Trevor have always been big supporters for that song. I'm glad that I've patched things up with Mel and am able to comfortably perform it now. It's turned into one of my Greatest "Hits"!

I assume your brother's voice has changed a bit since the Smidgen recording of My Way! Does he still play keyboards in a band?

Yes, his voice has changed. He doesn't play in any bands anymore unfortunately. He led a jazz band in high school for a while, and even wrote a FANTASTIC jazz-vocal song called "Itchy Eyes"! He's taking film studies in university now. Music just isn't his calling, but I'm glad to have played with him when I did.

He might get back into music again, you never know. Film studies sounds like fun. Did he ever record Itchy Eyes, or did they just play it live?
