This past weekend Erin B. and Ehren stayed with me. It was so wonderful to have some down-home peoples staying with me. Brought back a lot of great memories. it's snowing again today, but not as much as a couple weeks ago. i remember growing up and when it snowed, even the smallest flake, i thought "yes, no school!" however, i now see the snow start falling and think "oh, how pretty"--then i start getting dressed and head out to work, whether there is an inch or two feet ( Read more... )

It seems that my day has gotten a bit better. Let me just tell you how it started out. as usual, the weekend was not long enough. but dan made my sunday, taking me to see sarah jones' one woman show "bridge and tunnel." an incredible show it was. for 90 minutes i got lost in her characters' stories of immigrant life in the world's biggest city, struggles and rewards alike. it reminded me of the power of simplicity in the theatre. a ( Read more... )

Mom and Dad are flying up this weekend! I took Saturday off, so I have the whole weekend to play with them. Yay! I took a train out to Long Island yesterday for a theatre workshop at an elementary school. A new adventure, as many things are nowadays.
