I have to register for classes next week and just want to clear some questions up before hand ( Read more... )

don't EVER talk to the advisors. they are so full of fail, and don't really know how things work.

always talk to the professors. dr. davenport and dr. milbrandt are the people to talk to. just shoot them an email or stop by their office.

you do need a b average to apply to the major. you don't need to apply to the major until after you take the introductory class (4200)... they walk you through the steps to apply, and almost everyone gets in. i knew like one girl who didn't get in, but she stopped coming to class.

you take the gace your semester before you student teach. don't worry about it until then. (btw, it's easy as pie. if you've ever stepped foot in an art classroom, you'll know all of the answers.)... if you got better than 1000 on your SAT, you get to exempt out of the first part, too.

and i don't know what the heck is up the the studio credits thing. that sounds wrong, so don't believe it. :P

if ya've got any more questions, email me.

Perhaps some catalog reading and a sit-down with the Department Advisor is in order. jovial_pirate May 13 2009, 20:27:01 UTC
Perhaps some catalog reading and a sit-down with the Department Advisor is in order. But that would make to much sense....
