Do any of you have a program that lets you crop video clips and make mini-movie icons? I was just looking through some of my documents and found a small movie that I would love to have an icon from.

I would be forever grateful if any of you can do it for me!

I have the software...just not sure if its on the desktop or the laptop (or was on the old laptop!) ... will hafta look for it and get back to you on that...

But it takes .avi clips and can turn them into animated gifs. That's how I made Mr. Grubbie over yonder...

That'd be great if you could! I was looking at the vid I made of Boston dancing and it's begging me to be made into an icon! I used to have a program to do it but it was a trial version and expired. Anywho, I should be around Messenger later.

I've got it...and I tried...but I couldn't get it to make a clear video that would fit within LJ size restrictions...

I've got a few more ideas though and I'll try again tonight.

'sides, it's fun to watch Boston shake his ass for me. ;)

I downloaded some programs last night to try to get it and none of them would do what I wanted. I would have gotten frustrated but Boston was shakin' that ass. Methinks we could use that for world peace. :-)

What program do ya'll use to just make regular picture icons?

I'd love to make my own icons, but the programs I have on both my laptops suck big time!

I use Adobe Photoshop 7.o

does your copy of photoshop 7 have image ready? (the adobe animation software; i believe it comes standard with most installations). anyway, they can be made in there easily. i've got a video file i took at darlington that i was playing around with the other day and i started it in image ready, i haven't finished it though. i can try to fiddle with it if you need.
