Hope it does well, I've had 4 knee surgeries 3 on left knee including having ligaments rebuilt with some fairly hefty pins that was a release and rebuild and yes you will need the crutches. Oddly using them in the ice and snow I didn't fall over like my 2 legged friends so you'll probably be ok. I'm not at 3 surgeries on my right leg inc the original op to save my leg from the compartment syndrome, only partialy sucessful and ortho and plastics will be working on what's best to heal the wound sinus tract that is still causing me all the bother. I've also finally got a referal to occupational therapy to try to get me the aids I need to make life easier. I also need to chase the local social services department to get them to do a referal to it more local to my house. Am I dreading being told that yes for longer trips I need a wheelchair well both yes and no. I'll see what the future holds.

I hope they finally figure things out and get you all fixed up. Will you still be able to do your placement? I really hope so; you've worked so hard! :)

I do still read your entries, and I hope surgery goes well. Hopefully, they'll give you so many pain meds you won't even care you're on crutches.
