I agree with you overall about the episode, but I was confused by this:

And the entire episode wasn't overshadowed by the relationship between V/L.. Finally!! It was there, it was nice but it wasn't all about them. That's how it should be!

There have been five episodes so far this season and only ONE episode focused on the V/L relationship. Episode 3. In episodes 1, 2 and 5, their relationship was very background-y, in episode 4, it was more there simply because it was Logan's case. But their was no story ABOUT Logan/Veronica's relationship, we just saw more of them because it was a Logan story. So, I don't see where this season has shown L/V's relationship overshadowing any episode except for the one where it was one of the main storylines. And I think that's great that we got to see focus on their relationship in that one episode because it is needed every once in a while because relationships are important for more than just background in every episode. But it was just that one and only that one.

I know, but I'm crazy and needed to check my flist after a concert. Too forever.
