an academic advisor is there to assist you with complications you have in the process of your course/faculty planning. they are not there to miraculously make all your conflicts go away. they are not there to tell you which is the best path to take ( Read more... )

Seems like there's a lot of silly ppl at UBC hah!

Was talking with Kwan tonight...he was telling me about this guy who missed getting into this Masters program cause his GPA was 1% off. LOL! I would've told the guy that, "hey buddy, it's not the admission requirement that's stupid, you're the stupid one for not having good enough grades to get admitted!" LOL!!

hahahaha... poor guy... he's so nice and very professional at work... i can so imagine him telling the student that.
