I GOT A JOB!! Next year I will be an 8th grade language arts teacher at Rogers-Herr Middle School!! It's a year round school so I'll start teaching the second week of July. How crazy is that?? It's amazing!! I'm so excited. It's SUCH a good school and it's near my house and it's just great. it's not a done deal yet. I have one more interview ( Read more... )

i'm guessing first paycheck comes in july? but i wonder if i might get a signing bonus?

you can get a signing bonus for teaching? what is this the NFL?!

but i leave either the 11th or 12th... havent decided yet

it's kind of like the nfl except that we get more money for being science teachers or math teachers but i would get one for working in an "inner-city school" even though it's not inner city...a girl that i work with got $3000 for signing on in charlotte. i'm expecting a couple mil.
