Oh Not Again~
This fic is dedicated to the wonderful maki_of_japan, who's birthday is today (July 25th) and for our Kwon Leadah's upcoming birthday on August 18th! Sorry it's short. I have major writer's block. but, enough with the excuses! Happy Reading~
Kwon Jiyong is not an easy person to surprise. He is, as the Leader, in charge of schedules and the members whereabouts. So, fooling him long enough to get a birthday party together gets harder every year.
He's always asking questions like, 'where are you going?' and 'what are you going to be doing there?' Lying is easy most times, but not with Jiyong's watchdog Do-No-Wrong Youngbae around. And Jiyong, who rarely believes anything that comes out of Seunghyun's mouth without confirmation from Youngbae, makes sure YB is always around the other three.
But Jiyong also had a way of figuring out secrets, correctly, without many hints from the others. If you said or did one thing out of the way, Jiyong figured it out. It was a talent Seunghyun never quite figured out. It was a gift that he admired, and loathed.
So, this year, Seunghyun had a plan. But he'd need to utilize some of their seniors for it. Getting up with SE7EN wouldn't be a problem. They were the Choi Brothers, so Jiyong wouldn't be suspicious of their hanging out, unless given a reason. And TOP wasn't about to give him one.

Jiyong walked in the kitchen to find Seunghyun on the phone talking adamantly.
"Hey man, who're you talking to?" Ji asked trying to sound nonchalant, but failing in the process.
"Doogwook-hyung," Seunghyun replied simply.
"Oh, then-" he took the phone from TOP and said, "Hi SE7EN-hyung~"
Jiyong and SE7EN chatted a bit before, reluctantly, Jiyong gave the phone back to TOP. He eyed him suspiciously once more before exiting to do Jiyong-things. And God knows what those things could be.
"Phew~ that was close, anyway Hyung," TOP started once he knew Jiyong was out of earshot. This was going to be a long day. With Jiyong's 25th birthday in merely a week, preparations had to made, and quick.
"Hyunnie~ I'm going shopping! There's a sale at my favorite store! I'll be back soon~ don't do anything I wouldn't do!" TOP mentally chuckled at that. Jiyong was giving him alot of leeway. There's not much Jiyong won't do, so Seunghyun now has permission to do whatever.
And soon as he was gone, he gathered everyone around (minus YB he was at the gym working out).
"Okay, so as you guys already know, Jiyong's birthday is coming up. So Dongwook-hyung and I are working on a way to surprise him,"
"But, you guys have a big part in this too." the others nodded. "I need you guys to not say A WORD to Jiyong. Especially you, Maknae. You have a tendency to start acting weird around Jiyong when we're planning something for him. So try and just do what you usually do. But don't overdo it. We all know how easily Jiyong catches onto secrets/surprises. So, as the WWII saying goes, 'loose lips sink ships.'"
Seungri pouted when TOP pointed him out as the "loud-mouth" of the group. But they all decided that it could be done.
"So, how're we going to do it?" Seungri asked curiously.
"Well, you see~ Jiyong misplaces things most easily in my villa," TOP began. "The night before the party, I'm going to call Jiyong and tell him he forgot his jacket at my house, (I'm going to trick him into leaving it), and then commence to tell him to just come back tomorrow and get it. I'll be on my day-off, so he won't ask me to bring it to him. So, seeing as Ji just loves to be fashionably late, he probably won't get there until late,"
"So, I'm going to have the lights out, he'll think I'm asleep, but barge in anyway because he's a stubborn prick. He doesn't know where the light-switches are, so he'll be stumbling around in the dark. This is to our advantage. Maknae, since you are the smallest, and therefore lightest, we're going to have you sneak up on him and cover his mouth. He'll be scare enough by that point, then we'll turn on the lights and viola! The Surprise party will have been a success."
It was the perfect plan. Fool-proof. As long as they all kept their mouths shut and acted normal.

It was the day before the party was to be held. Jiyong, as planned had left his favorite 'MiSfItS' jacket at TOP's villa he hadn't even noticed in his absent mindedness.
TOP had called like a good boy and Jiyong had promised to be there bright and early to take it off Seunghyun's hands before he, 'got the urge to be like Kwon Jiyong.' and as predicted, it was nighttime before Jiyong had gotten there. He'd spent all day talking to Kush, and only just an hour ago had Kush mentioned that he 'had somewhere to be'.
Jiyong had thanked the Heavens before making tracks to Seughyun's lofty villa. He opened the door with his spare key, and walked in. 'Stupid TOP, he's such an Ahjusshi! Who goes to be at 10pm? What a geezer.' Jiyong thought as he walked cautiously throughout the pitch-black building, in search of a very illusive light switch.
He'd been walking around for what seemed like an eternity, but really had only been 20 minutes. The villa was growing creepier and creepier as the minutes ticked by. He was just about to give up on the jacket before something cold grabbed his forearm. He started to scream, but it was stifled by a hand over his mouth.
And Ji could think was 'SERIAL KILLER, SERIAL KILLER, SERIAL KILLER!' and 'Jacket, are you okay?' He struggled as he was pulled to an unknown room. Jiyong's eyes were till shut tight long after the hand was removed and the lights turned on.
His ears were met with laughter. "Hyung~ you can open your eyes now!" Jiyong opened them and was met with Seungri's wide eyes. "You- but- where's the-?" and then he saw everyone. Everyone including the 2NE1 girls, some of the Nuthang crew, SE7EN, Kush, Teddy, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seunghyun.
He was shocked. They ha surprised him. (and scared him too!)
"You should've seen the look on your face Ji! Priceless." Seunghyun said before attempting to recreate it. "Oh, and I got a picture too! Can you say Blackmail~"
Jiyong and he spent a bit of time arguing and friendly-fighting over the photos. And afterward they ate cake, opened presents, and drank some champagne.
Seungri even played 'OUTRO (In My World)' Jiyong's favorite song. They laughed at Bom's claims that she and Seunghyun are 'Aliens,' and how much CL and GD had in common.
Everyone began to file out at different times. Seungri and YB were the last to go. But they too, left after a while. Leaving the now 25 year old and his hyung.
"Hey, Hyunnie?"
"Mhm?"
"Thank you for this~"
"Yeah, it was no problem. Sleep now? I'm kind of tired." Jiyong wanted to make a witty remark about how Seunghyun is 'such an Ahjusshi', but decided against it since he was tired himself.
After he showered and dressed for bed, he slipped under the duvet waiting for Seughyun. But in the process fell asleep. Seunghyun walked in to see the sleeping Leader.
He walked over, kissed his forehead and slipped in under the duvet beside him. Another successful surprise birthday party. 'I'm such a good boyfriend,' TOP thought cockily before slipping into unconsciousness to join Jiyong in the Dream Realm.
