A Glamour magazine survey asked women if they would rather cure cancer or create world peace. More women said they would rather cure cancer. That makes me really sad

I would have chosen world peace too.

It is GLAMOUR magazine though. People probably just thought to themselves "which is more likely to affect me?" before they answered. :/
