I'm already excited for Brazil, but still disappointed for this one. I had really thought Italy would perform better, but Spain stepped it up. I wonder how it would have gone had Germany played them.

My guess is that Germany would have lost too, Spain really played well, and Germany doesn't have a good history lately against Spain.

Spain played indeed great - I do believe the two strongest teams of this tournament met in the finals (despite Italy looking bad) and don't think any other team had have a chance against Spain. Germany maybe could have looked better (but not won), but Italy could have too if they just caught an easier going day.

Once more showing how very amazingly Portugal played against Spain!
